Learn Italian or, when in Italy, have at hand the vocabulary to ask for what you need. This App works really well for both. The verb conjugation function is especially useful and, when you get more advanced, upgrade to paid version for idiomatic and other usage notes. No hesitation in recommending. Cinque stelle

This is a really useful app for anyone learning Italian. The verb conjugation tables are especially great.

I really like the fact that I can use this app offline. Perfect for when I quickly need to fetch a word or cant understand someone. I wish the phrase search function was more useful though. When I search, for example, "how long" it says no results, even though the phrase is in the app. Everything else is great though, and I would recommend purchasing add ons as needed.

This app works well, includes audio, and is useful for looking up common words when you’re offline, but the “thousands of extra words” you supposedly get when you shell out for the paid version appears to be primarily made up simply of every conjugated form of every verb that was already there in the free version - as far as I’ve been able to tell so far, you do NOT get very many genuinely new words at all. Save your money and stick with the free version: unless you’re a beginner, you’ll be slightly irritated that you know most of the words in this dictionary already anyway, but at least you won’t be as irritated as me at having paid for a supposedly “expanded” version that still doesn’t contain most of the (less-common) words that I need to look up.

Very useful tool. Currently using it in Italy to good effect. Have used it to help translate research for dissertation work. Verb bank especially helpful.

This app is more accurate and thorough than most translators I have found. It is my "go to" source for dictionary help with Italian.

Works off line and is quick. Love That it gives variations and phrases!

I see the word saldi everywhere here in Italy, so I typed it in, it said it was the noun form of saldare, which it said it would translate for me...if I got the paid version!

This can really speed up ones reading of Italian text. Sometimes the textual meaning and the word definition seems to be out of phase but it certainly is an improvement over pounding a paper bound dictionary
